WELCOME TO ST GEORGE EAGLES FOOTBALL
Junior college football has disappeared from numerous states, leaving many high school graduates who aren’t offered major college scholarships with their dreams cut short before they truly begin. Starting in Fall 2023, USA Collegiate and The Coaches Team Foundation, a nonprofit organization, brought junior college football back to St. George—along with a “gap year” program designed to give recent graduates another shot at achieving their goals.
When people hear “junior college athletics,” they often underestimate the impact this transitional level of competition can have on a student-athlete’s growth both on and off the field. The same holds true for those taking advantage of the gap year opportunity.
The St. George Eagles, Utah’s first private team, are committed to helping post-high school players develop academically, athletically, and physically so they can reach their ultimate goal: playing major college football.

MEET THE HEAD COACH
GREG CROSHAW
Over 24 seasons (1982–2005), Coach Greg “Cro” Croshaw compiled a remarkable 214–56–1 record, won 17 conference championships, and was twice the NJCAA national runner-up. He coached 36 NJCAA First-Team All-Americans, developed nine national rushing leaders, and mentored four NJCAA Players of the Year.
After an impressive playing career at Yakima Valley Junior College and Weber State — followed by signing with the Green Bay Packers — Coach Cro began his coaching journey at Dixie College. He went on to work under LaVell Edwards at BYU and later joined Dave and Paul Arslanian at Snow College, where they turned around a program with 12 straight losing seasons into a nationally ranked powerhouse.
Cro then coached at Northern Arizona before returning to Dixie as head coach, where he built his legacy and helped shape generations of athletes. Now reuniting with the Arslanian brothers, he’s helping relaunch junior college football in St. George with the St. George Eagles — Home of the Dixie Spirit — returning to what he does best: guiding young men to the next level.
St. George Eagles is the first private Post High School Collegiate/ JUCO Football team in Utah whose program will help post-high school football players develop academically, athletically and physically to reach their goal of playing major college football.
